So, Joel came up to me today and told me he was exhausted. Yes, his word. I'm sure he is after waking several times through the night, but it came as a surprise that he knew the word. He makes me giggle.
Cate and Joel were creating masterpieces last night. I plan on getting huge canvases for them soon, so they can provide the artwork for our family room. They have such colorful imaginations. There is always a new catastrophe to overcome- some flood waters rushing through the walls, a dinosaur coming to eat them, a leaky ship...their answer is always to put on their rainboots, grab a flashlight and charge! There are quieter games- mostly Joel gets stuck being the dad opposite Cate's bossy mom- she always seems to display my less finer moments. I think God does that to remind us of where we are and who we should become.

I agree, rainboots will solve anything.
Your kids are so cool. I can't wait to see the canvasses.
That will be fun to see!
I very much agree with you about Kid's reminding us of the areas we need to grow in. I certianly am reminded by my kids.
I love the colors in that. What wonderful imaginations :)
that certainly is a masterpiece!
and about finer moments, I can't believe how many spankings my girls' babies get! I also think that maybe oldest daughters are a little more pron to being bossy!
I miss those two! I think that next time their here I should supply them with canvas and paint so that they can paint pictures for my room too!
Lookout Carrie, Cate asked Polly if she could find her a place to hide so that next time you're here you couldn't find her when it's time to go.
