Did any of you catch the lunar eclipse last night? I have never seen one before, so it was a beautiful new experience. I'm sure you've all seen pictures, but this is mine.

I knew it was coming, but I almost forgot about it. Luckily I called Luke while it was happening and he told me.

It seems like it's usually more orange than it was this time.

(And then I have the nerve to wonder why I"m so big!)

I did peek out my window and see it before climbing into bed.
a long time ago when one happened in the winter like this I laid out on the hay bales and watched it. it was so pretty.

Well, we went out in our PJ's and froze our bums off and watched it. Alexis was ready to go in in half a second she didn't care. Mark was very intrigued by it(he is a lot like his daddy in that way, he loves science and such like). Hannah on the other hand couldn't sleep. She thought God had taken away the moon. She was so scared! She didn't know what to think. Daddy laid down and cuddled with her and told her that it was kinda like God just put a blanket over the moon for a while so it could sleep better. He had me in tears when he told me this after coming down from the cuddle time w/ her. I was so blessed by this. Just thought I would share with you.

I love your picture. We enjoyed it, too. Gregory checks the moon everynight now to see what is happening with it now.
