A few weeks ago we started tearing everything out of Cate's room to redecorate. We got as far as pulling up the carpet and base trim before Roger's back went out. The poor guy couldn't move for two weeks! So now that he's gone, the kids and I are working on it little by little. Hopefully my sisters have a deep desire to help paint while they are here this week (well, do ya?). I have many, many curtains to sew and a rug to make, a bed to get and books to sort through, as well as painting the walls, floor and trim. These are some pictures that Cate and I painted. She wasn't very into hers as you can tell from the stick figures and I'm afraid that I didn't inherit any of my parents' artistic abilities. But I thought they would still make fun additions to Cate's colorful, artsy room.
